KC Mobile Shine Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

By booking or using KC Mobile Shine services, you ("Client" or "You") agree to the following terms and conditions, which constitute a legal agreement between you and KC Mobile Shine LLC ("Contractor", "We", "Us", or "Our").

Firm Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

The following fees apply based on how much notice is provided before your scheduled appointment:

  • ◆ More than 48 hours notice

    No fee

  • ◆ 24–48 hours notice

    $50 flat fee charged to card on file

  • ◆ 12–24 hours notice

    50% of service amount, up to $250 charged to card on file

  • ◆ Less than 12 hours notice or No call / No show

    100% of service amount, up to $250 charged to card on file

  • ◆ Client not present or vehicle unavailable upon arrival

    100% of service amount, up to $250 charged to card on file

Rescheduling Policy

KC Mobile Shine understands that plans change. The following rescheduling terms apply to all bookings:

  • ◆ One complimentary reschedule is allowed per booking, provided the request is submitted with more than 48 hours notice before the original appointment date. Request must be submitted by text or email only.

  • ◆ Second reschedule on the same booking incurs a flat $25 fee, charged to the card on file, regardless of how much notice is given.

  • ◆ Rescheduling within 48 hours of the original appointment date is treated as a cancellation and is subject to the full cancellation fee schedule outlined above.

Important: Cancellation of a Rescheduled Appointment

The cancellation fee window is determined as follows:

  • If your reschedule request was submitted more than 48 hours before your original appointment date, the fee clock resets to your new appointment date.
  • If your reschedule request was submitted within 48 hours of your original appointment date, the fee clock remains on your original booking date — not the rescheduled date.

Example: If you book for March 20th, reschedule within 48 hours to March 27th, then cancel on March 26th — your cancellation fee is calculated from March 20th, not March 27th.

Rescheduling does not reset or extend cancellation fee windows unless the reschedule was requested with more than 48 hours notice before the original appointment date.

How to Cancel

All cancellation requests must be submitted via text message or email only. Cancellations communicated by any other method, including phone calls, voicemails, or third-party messages, will not be accepted or recognized. Cancellation time is determined by the timestamp of the written message received by KC Mobile Shine, not the time the client initiates contact.

All rescheduling requests must also be submitted by text or email only, using the contact information above. The timestamp of the message received by KC Mobile Shine determines which rescheduling terms apply.

Payment Authorization

By providing a payment method at the time of booking, the Client expressly authorizes KC Mobile Shine LLC to charge any applicable cancellation or no-show fees to the card on file, in accordance with this agreement. This authorization remains in effect until the scheduled appointment is completed or cancelled without penalty.

The exact cancellation fee is calculated as the percentage of the total booked service amount as outlined in the schedule above, not to exceed $250. KC Mobile Shine does not exercise discretion in determining the fee amount — it is determined solely by the time of cancellation notice received in writing.

This authorization also applies to any applicable rescheduling fees, including the $25 second reschedule fee, which may be charged to the card on file without additional notice.

Cash Payments & Card on File

KC Mobile Shine accepts cash as a form of payment for completed services. However, all bookings regardless of payment method require a valid card on file at the time of scheduling. This card is held securely and will only be charged in the event of a cancellation fee as outlined in this policy. By providing your card at booking, you authorize KC Mobile Shine LLC to charge applicable cancellation fees to that card if necessary, even if you intend to pay the service balance in cash.

Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas and the State of Missouri, as applicable based on the location of service. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the applicable state court.

This policy was last updated March 2026 and applies to all services rendered in the states of Kansas and Missouri. KC Mobile Shine LLC reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the most current version.
